What an awesome, easy, can't-put-down book. Written with such great candor and relatable story, I absolutely loved it! It made me laugh, cry, & laugh out loud again.
Ms. Preuss' journey so far is admirable & inspiring. Having to juggle work, friends, family, & the pursuit of acting, she still found the time to write. I look forward to the next book. Ms. Preuss, you're amazing!
I started this book during my lunch hour at work and just finished. I could close my eyes and picture the antics of these people and laugh out loud...and did quite frequently.! Need another book from her. Definitely worth reading.

I picked up this book one evening and couldn't put it down until it was done. It is a wonderfully written book about friendship. Through Jennifer's writing you see how she and her friends get each other through life. It is raw and honest. After reading this book you will wish you were friends with these ladies.

Every adult shares the experience of growing distance among long-time friends once we launch our own families. This lovely collection of short stories about one group of friends and their "adventures" is a fun read, but the heart-wrenching tale which begins the book and is later told in full, is a reminder why we should continue to invest in those friendships, even when time comes at a premium. This part of the story is told in sweet agonizing authenticity. It is real and raw and beautiful. Reading this book made me miss the friends I let slip away and appreciate those who have stuck it out through the hard times. If you want a chance to reminisce about your own fun adventures and perhaps an excuse to reach out to someone you've misplaced over the years...this is the book to jump-start your efforts.
Edition was a little oddly formatted. Looks like you're skipping pages, but you're not.

I predict this will be the first of many books she will write. The stories she relates are so vivid that you feel you are right there, experiencing everything with her! Her narrative is thoughtful, provoking, honest and humorous. I look forward to reading her next book!
Such a fun and heart warming read. I felt like I was friends with these ladies and began to admire who they were. One of my best character traits is that I have no filter and I speak my mind, but this book helped me reflect on how much more free I could be with my feelings of love for people. Don't be afraid to say how you feel, especially your strongest feelings of love and appreciation. This book did what every book should aspire to do...make the reader laugh, cry, think and reflect. I am better for reading it.
I started reading this book earlier today and could not wait to read on. While doing my kids bedtime routine I continued and could not put this book down. I finished it just before 11 pm. This is coming from someone who hates to read. I made it through graduate school with scimming through books. I have never read a book cover to cover except Green Eggs and Ham. This book is written by my son's first grade teacher. I bought the book to be nice and show support because she is an AMAZING teacher and I feel so lucky that he has her. The gift was truly given to me. What a captivating, emotional, and funny read with stories written in a way that takes you in the moment reliving it as if it was your life. The details, side remarks, personal truths, and fantastic in between chapter notes that leave you wanting more and more. I can't believe I finished the book in one night. I need more. I cannot wait for your next book Mrs. Preuss. You made me a reader!!!!! Thank you so much for this gift of a book and for all that you do and all that you are!!!!!!
